I met Mr. Arjun Chakraborty by chance a few months ago and we both decided to make a movie together.
Arjun Chakraborty is an established actor and was very keen to direct a movie.
Arjun put forward a proposal to make a movie based on a novel written by a popular Bengali writer Suchitra Bhattacharya called Rangeen Prithibi which was based on the people in and around the Tollywood Film Industry.
I decided to choose the name of the movie myself and coined the title “Tolly Lights” for this movie.
As a part of our policy, full creative freedom has been given to the director in all respects.
This is my first movie and I hope to make many more movies in English,Hindi and in Bengali.
We are definitely getting involved in the media industry from the electronic point of view and hope to use modern technology to the fullest.
Tollywood would be the learning point, and for understanding the business of movie making and therefore a positive experience and a profitable outcome will be very encouraging to the entire team.
